“I had been doing yoga for years when I first started private yoga with Katie and had a set of ideas about the way my body should look in each pose. I knew somehow this was limiting my practice and generally making me feel I was inadequate. Katie taught me how to rethink yoga instead as a practice in presence and in each session we work on how to use yoga as a way to listen and notice; to cultivate a loving relationship with my own body. 

I now feel I have a sense of ownership or agency in my practice and it feels more like a mindful exploration of my body rather than a chore for it.”
