My parents put me in my first dance classes at the Dance Studio of Wakefield in Massachusetts when I was just 3 years old. The love was instant and long lasting, and since then dance has been my primary mode of self expression and artistry.

I continued training at the Dance Studio of Wakefield all the way through high school, and when I was 10 years old I also enrolled at the Northeast School of Ballet to deepen my understanding of classical ballet.

I received additional training through summer intensives at the Boston Ballet School, the Joffrey School of Ballet, Miami City Ballet, & Kaatsbaan International Dance Center.

After high school, I went on to graduate from Alonzo King LINES Ballet's BFA program with Dominican University of California. While at LINES, I had the pleasure of working with a team of incredible artists (such as Alonzo King, Maurya Kerr, Amanda Miller, Kara Davis, Christian Burns, Arturo Fernandez, Marina Hotchkiss, & Gregory Dawson among others) who taught me the nuances of artistry in and out of the studio, about what dance/art mean for humanity, and that choice-making and intentionality, in dance and in life, are paramount.

After graduation, I was lucky enough to get a job right away performing with Garrett + Moulton Productions in San Francisco for their Swiss tour that served as a catalyst and launching pad for my career.

Immediately following the performance tour through Switzerland, I auditioned for and joined the Ballett of Saarländisches Staatstheater in Saarbrücken, Germany, where I lived and danced professionally for 4 years.

While in Saarbrücken, I performed in 50+ performances a year of contemporary repertoire by world renowned artists such as Ohad Naharin, Johan Inger, Alexander Ekman, Stijn Celis, Marguerite Donlon, Mark Baldwin, & Kenneth MacMillan, among others. In Germany I learned the ups and downs of living and working full time as an artist, felt what it was like to be valued as a dancer in society, and connected with incredible artists/humans from all over the world.

After 4 years abroad, I had a deep desire to be more connected to my communities in the States. Upon moving home, I joined Gibney Dance Company in NYC for their 2017-2018 season. While with the company, I performed in a new creation by Bryan Arias & in works by GDC Senior Director, Amy Miller. At Gibney I was given the tools and space to deepen my social justice work by way of facilitating Movement Workshops for survivors of domestic violence. It opened my eyes more fully to the ways we can use movement and physical embodiment as a way to process and move past trauma, and it reminded me of the roots of what I love and know about dancing to be true— that it feels amazing to move your body and to be able to express yourself without the confines words.
